VITMMB04 Smart City Laboratory

Announcement for the students of specialization "Smart city" of BME VIK M.Sc

First laboratory exercise of the subject was held on 5 February, 2019 in the room IB.210 at 10.00 AM. This occasion was not a real exercise but a brief informational meeting. The schedule of groups (pairs of sudents, who will do an exercise together) was published and the student could have registered themselves to groups.

Objectives of the infocommunications laboratory subjects:

The objective of this subject is to introduce representative elements of the hardware and software building blocks which support smart-city-concept and the usage of these elements to plan and fulfill system-level measurements or to evaluate case studies.

Laboratory exercises:

The instruction happens in the form of 4-hour long laboratory exercises. During the semester each student has to perform out 6 exercises. Students work on the exercises in pairs according to the schedule based on the registration made at the start of the semester. Students have to be prepared themselves for the exercises with the help of the tutorial available in electronic or printed format. Preparedness will be checked with a test in the first ten minutes of the exercise. During the exercise the measurement tasks signed as mandatory in the measurement instructions should be performed out. The results of the measurement tasks should be included to a report, to which a template is available in electronic format. A student group may prepare a joint report. Also optional measurement tasks can be done in order to receive better mark for the exercise. At the of the exercise teacher give a mark for the exercise for each student and certify with his signature that students completed the exercise. Evaluation of exercises are described in the datasheet of the subject. The mid-term mark of the subject can be aquired if the student performs 6 exercises, each of them at least with pass mark (2) and the student must not have more than one replaced exercise.

OV_03	Vezetéknélküli kommunikáció szenzormodulok között. Szenzoradatok küldése IoT (Internet of Things - tárgyak internete) felhőbe. Reports of the laboratory exercises should be sent after completion of the measurement tasks to the teacher of the exercise AND to Tamás Marosits. One report should be written for a pair of students. The name of the file should be the family names of both of the students without accent connected with a low line ("_"). Reports will be evaluated by the teacher on the spot. (Students will get a mark for that exercise.)
