The structure of the Main Dialog Window

After starting the UIP the Opening Screen appears on the screen.

After a few seconds the Opening Screen disappears and a window called Main Dialog Window appears (see above).

The parts of the Main Dialog Window are as follows:

Title bar Standard MS-Windows caption containing the name of the program.
Menu bar Main menu items.
Toolbar Contains the icons of the most frequently used commands.
Working area In this part of the screen the test parameters are edited and the test results appear.

The parts of the working area are as follows:
Config field Here are the buttons of the dialog windows of the test parameters in the form of block scheme.
Channel field Status display and fast channel setting up of PCM channels.
Tx:Apply field Fast changes of transmitter parameters during the test.
Result field The test-results are displayed here. There are available separate windows for displaying the test-results in numeric, graphic and table form. Always only one of the windows is active. The active window can be selected by the tabs above the header field.
Report tab pages The active test-result window can be selected by these tabs. These tabs are related to the REPORT variable.
Header field The header of the test results appear here.
Alarm field The status of the test, communication, and documentation interfaces.
Display control field [DCF] Settings of the parameters related to the test-result presentation.

Pressing the CNF/REC button in the DCF, an another window opens onto the Config field, it can be seen the following screen:

The parts of this window are as follows:
Aux result field The auxiliary test results (call extract, complete decoding...) are displayed here in the case of signalling tests. There are available separate windows for displaying the auxiliary test-results in numeric form. Always only one of the windows is active. The active window can be selected by the tabs above the aux header field.
Aux report tab pages The active aux. result window can be selected by these tabs. These tabs are related to the CALL_REPORT variable.
Aux header field The header of the auxiliary test results appear here.
