Definitions:

• FAS - Facility Associated Signaling - signaling is made at the same physical interface, as the speech. Signaling channels with common routes.
• NFAS - Non-Facility Associated Signaling - Signaling channels with separated routes
• TSC - Temporarily Signalling Connection - DSS1 call control type applied for data transmission
• NCA-TSC - Non-Call Associated Temporarily Signalling Connection - A virtual connection to forward messages of user on the ISDN-PRI D-channel. B-channel is not necessary for the connection.
• CA-TSC - Call Associated Temporarily Signalling Connection - A virtual connection to forward messages of user on the ISDN-PRI B-channel. (call reference)
