Definity - Database describing the central configuration - Configuration management

Characteristic data of the central configuration, and services programmed to the devices etc. are stored in the database. One of the key parameters idenfying records of the database the first one is the type of the record.

AThe most important record types are the following:

Name of the record	Description
Terminal data block	A Data blocks assigned to the ports of the peripheral unit: Name of the record Description Device (Station), Device data block Data-module, Data module (modem) data block DS1 interface, E1/T1 (PCM, ISDN PRI) interface Identification of the data block and the device through it happens with the help of the extension number.

Dialing plan	Descriptions related to build-up connections, strings used for the availability of services: Name of the record Description Dial-Plan Dialing plan UDP Uniform Dialing Plan
