Definity - Route Pattern - Tables describing routes

In these tables we can specify the trunks for the route selected in the routing table. Many trunks (altenative paths) can be assigned to a route. Moreover many attributes of the selected route can be set here.

List of the selectable routes:

Command: LIST ROUT , BCM 50 equivalent

ParameterDesriptionSet of the possible values
Route PatInput: Identifier of the table describing the selected route.
It is the output of the AAR table.
PrefIt is not necessary for the AAR
Trk Grp - Trunk Group No.Output: Identifier of the trunk realizing the primary route.
FRLRouting preference0..7 0-min, 7-max restriction
Hop Lmt - Hop limitMaximum number of links of the route 1..32, if it is not filled out, then there is no limit
IXC - Inter Exchange Carrier (US) CDR - ARS can also route on the basis of this (see also Wikipedia)
BCC Bearer Capability Class
What kind of information-transmitting capabilities does the route have?
Values
TSCTemporary Signalling Connections
ISDN TSC Gateway Channel Assignments
y - it permits both the operation of CA és NCA DSS1 TSC protocols (the packet-switched data transmission) on the route.
CA-TSC requestCall Associated TSC
A connection request between Channel B and CA-TSC
  • as needed - CA-TSC
  • at-setup - simultaneously
  • none - it could not be simultaneous
ITCInformation Transfer Capability
We can set the type of the traffic to be forwarded.
  • restricted
  • unrestricted
  • both
Service/Featureonly in the case of Call by Call Service (US)
