Introduction, programming order

• we can assign linesto the sets (for the handling of outgoing, incoming calls, or for calls arriving to other device of the exchange)
• we can assignservicesto the function buttons of sets
• We can restrict services available with the set.

Programming of a device must be made in order! Aligment of lines and function buttons cannot be programmed optionally!

In details:

• Line Assignment tab - We can here assign physical trunk lines (e.g. private main line) and target lines (reception of a call arriving at ISDN PRI and VoIP trunks)˙ to the individual telephones
  

  The following data are demonstrated in the table below from the data block of the device:

  Appereance type	Method of display of the arriving call on the device. Line assignment appears even on the function button of the device! Position of these buttons is fixed at the function keyboard, so function buttons programmed earlier can be overwritten!   Caller Id. Set
  Vmsg Set
  Priv Received #	Directory number of a call received from a private network (Called Party Number). It is usually the own number of the device.
  Pub Received #	Directory number of a call received from a public network (Called Party Number).

• Line Pool Access tab - Here we can program a "line pool" (trunk) access to the device (e.g. for initiating an outgoing call). (ISDN PRI and VoIP trunks are available only through line-pool, their lines cannot be dedicated lines.)

  Note: the line-pool <-> directory number assignment can also be programmed in the Dialing Plan - Line Pools menu.

• Answer DNs tab contains directory numbers of those devices, which have arriving calls receivable on this device. (Call Appearance)

  In case of digital telephone:

  Assignment of lines and function buttons:

  Program of the exchange assigns function buttons to lines automatically according to the following protocol:

  • Intercom lines (max. 8) are arranged in a descending order from the 24th button.
  • Answer DN lines (max.8) are located under the intercom buttons.
  • Buttons of lines belonging to target lines, and Hunt and SWCA services are arranged in an ascending order from the 9th button.
  • Protocol overwrites function buttons written in earlier!

  

  In case of IP telephone:

  Assignment of lines and function buttons:

  Program of the exchange assigns function buttons to lines automatically according to the following protocol:

  • Intercom lines are arranged in a descending order from the 4th button.
  • Answer DN lines are located under the intercom buttons.
  • Buttons of lines belonging to target lines are arranged in an ascending order from the 1st button.
  • Protocol overwrites function buttons written in earlier!
