- Access code - extension of concept of
dialing number, access code (service, dialing number, route controller, etc.)
- ADID - Analog Direct Inward Dial
- Answer DN - Dialing number of "B" device assigned to "A" device. A call arriving to "B" device will also occur on "A" device.
- Application - 1. An application requisiting resources of the exchange (devices, trunks...).
2. Available "extra" services (e.g voice mail, call-center, call-detail-recording, etc.)
- auto-answer trunk - a trunk with a capability of giving an automatic answer, like for example DID, PRI and VoIP trunk

The length of the directory number and the initial dialing number is the start-up parameter of the exchange.

- Hospitality services -
Telephone services, that can be deployed to hotels, hospitals. Devices deployed to the rooms have low service capabilities, e.g. external line is available only through the operator. Besides, there is a possibility for waking and room status registration services, too.

Example: Name of an ISDN-PRI interface is here: "Telephony resource module (DTM-PRI)". It means the ISDN-PRI card in Definity exchange.
